Llansannor CIW Primary School

 

Llansannor Church in Wales Primary is a rural school set in the rolling Vale of Glamorgan landscape. The school’s previous temporary buildings were replaced with a new modern school building wrapped around the original Victorian school which was retained.

 

The layout and interior detailing of the school is aimed very much towards the use of the pupils, with low and interesting fenestration combinations to bring both light and fresh air into the heart of the classrooms whilst the exterior sits low in the landscape with a curved copper roof to reflect the surrounding green rolling hills.
