Ysradowen Church
St Owain’s is a mid 19th century parish church, designed by John Prichard Architect of London and Llandaf. The practice was commissioned to design a new Vestry to enhance and complement the present facilities.
The vestry is conceived as a flexible, barrel vaulted space that is connected to the existing church by a flat roofed extension that also houses the boiler room and vestry entrance. Designed as a natural extension of the existing church, the vestry emulates the proportions and detailing of the adjacent building.
