Tŷ Hwnt y Bwlch

Tŷ Hwnt y Bwlch is a Grade II* listed traditional Welsh longhouse situated on a hillside north of Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire. The building dates from the 16th and 17th centuries and because of its remote location had been left vacant since the late 1950’s. The work involved to make the property habitable and appropriate for 21st century living whilst respecting the building’s heritage was challenging and included replacing the corrugated sheet roof with reclaimed natural stone tiles.
